Bright Futures
High school juniors and seniors can earn a high school diploma and
a certificate in one of the professional technical programs offered
at the Seattle Vocational Institute.
Eligible students attend tuition free.
Career Link Skills Academy/GED Academy
Out-of-school youth (16-20 years) who do not have a high school
diploma can re-engage in an educational setting to learn job
readiness skills, explore career options and prepare for the GED exam.
GED Preparation
General Educational Development (GED) preparation courses cover
the subjects tested in the GED test including reading, writing,
mathematics, science and social studies. Classes stress test-taking
skills and prepare the student to take the GED test.
High School Completion
Adults over the age of 19 have the opportunity to complete their high
school studies and receive a high school diploma through one of the
Seattle Community Colleges.
Adult Basic Education
Classes for individuals who would like to improve their basic
reading, writing and math skills, but are not yet ready to study
for the GED test.
